Server recommendations?

Hi, was looking at a cheap end server but there seems to have been a sudden price increase and this has priced us out.

Was only very basic, dell r300, single xeon x3363 2.83ghz, 12gb ram, 2 x 500gb sata hotswappable with raid 1 \(SAS 6iR controller), redundat power, 3yrs nbd, rack mount with sliding rails, dvd etc

Been looking at HP stuff which i'm sure is good but not so sure on the ease of quickly pricing it up.


Anyone any recommendations?
