    VGA - RJ45

I know these exist, but I can't find them! Basically I have a PC in the server room downstairs as I have no room in my office, but I have a monitor mounted on the wall in my office. So I need to send the VGA out via network cable about 60m.

Anyone bought one and knows what it was called?

    Cheers,

    Dom

    hiya Dom,

I think you would be able to use the below,

VGA Video Extender Remote Receiver over Cat 5 Video extender

This VGA over Cat 5 video receiver is specifically designed for use with StarTech.com's 4 Port VGA over Cat5 UTP Extender, which allows you to connect up to 4 receivers from one (transmitter) source. The VGA video signal is sent to remote monitors (each connected to a Cat 5 VGA receiver) over standard 4 pair Category 5 UTP cable, and supports distances of up to 150m (492ft).

A cost-effective video extension solution, this receiver is ideal for a wide range of environments, including airports, bus depots, retail, or any large buildings where VGA video needs to be extended to long connection distances.

let me know if you would like a quote

We use the CP quoted one in our theatre for the projector, it really does work well!
