They look great, and look a lot easier to clean the filters so anything that can make our jobs easier must be a must purchase!!

Certainly something worth considering when thinking about purchasing one of these, maybe in classrooms where you know teachers have control.

But certainly they look a good improvment on the current setups.

Nice idea, but I'm not convinced, just employ shorter teachers (yes I do mean shorter teachers, so they cannot reach the projector to even use them = one less job for IT tech ).

Anyway, you don't need a fancy solution to this problem, just mount the board at a more sensible level rather than the recomended height. I have mounted them in nursery classes before so they are literally only a couple of feet off the ground so the ikkle 3/4/5 year olds can reach them.

I had 15 installed over the summer holidays.

They are a wonderful idea and got us out of problems with nothing above the celing to hang the projector off and also asbestos tiles.

if anyone wants to come and see the install you are quite welcome to and also you are quite welcome to give me a call.

Dos_Box has one of these and it did look very tidy... all shiny and new as it was (as everything including the building was!).

I couldn't help thinking about how flimsy that arm looked though... just asking to be swung from!

It's a nice idea when an installation calls for it - e.g. lack of ceiling or inconvenient mounting point. Or if it gives real added value - e.g. for those in wheelchairs.

@Andy: A full complement of ceilings but some are pretty ropey Nevertheless, I was thinking more about architectural masterpieces with odd angles and glass here and there.

About £2.5K inc install from what I've seen, probably get a bit of discount if you're lucky :-)

Had a flyer from Dell with one in it today too - £2439 ex del and vat

I am concerned about the little chimps swinging from the beam as well as the optional projector safe being at a hieght you could smack your head on.
