Hehe! Well, it's not been any particular brands - oddly enough the most recent one was an Antec. Mostly FSP OEM kit though and a couple of the usual suspects (Jeantech, Qtec) and a couple of Delta branded units.

Must be something going round, or pure coincidence. Just wondered if anyone else had noticed much in the last few weeks

You tried running some of the kit through some cheap UPS? Ebuyer used to have some on there for around 20/30 quid and seem to do the job. Use them for small call center pc's etc and have lasted a couple of years so far. You can even monitor the power flux on them to make sure it's nothing from your leccy supplier. If it is could claim it on their insurance if you find the supplier at fault.

Last time we had something like this was ~ 2002 when we had all the lighting storms up here, we sold a hell of a lot of computer modems back then!
