We use Gyromice with normal whiteboards - not quite sure what the point of having an interactive whiteboard AND a Gyromouse is?

That's what ours do too. As they're obviously not using the interactive feature of the IWB they may as well have saved the money they spent on it and buy a projector and Gyromouse for another classroom. That's what we did.

Perhaps they think Gyromice only work with IWB's

Got a couple of LX710's in the office, battery powered mouse and keyboard unfortunately, no charger unit.

HOwever with the Logitech SetPoint you can lock the mouse + keyboard to the PC so these sort of things dont happen. Long as you connect it initially, and then go into the Setpoint and "Secure" the keyboard.

The software tells you when your battery is low etc.. and there is a "Check" battery button on the device also if you dont have the software installed the red LED lights up to tell you its nearly out of juice.
