My HP6715B laptop at home is connected to a Belkin router. Recently, the wireless connection has been dropping out if the computer isn't used for a half hour or so. If I run the diagnostics it says the router is shown as "Hidden". Rebooting it gets it going again.

22nd June 2009, 05:39 PM #2 the belkin router is the problem - you could try a different channel for the wireless but not sure that will help much. That or a firmware update on the router ?
Also try it with no encryption on the router and see if that helps if it does then maybe try wep and if thats fine then go back to WPA or w/e you are using.
