XP MCE installation on Dell => 7B BSOD
A friend has a Dell Optiplex 755 and a Dell Dimension 9200. They are over 3 years old, have SATA hard drives and onboard RAID. One came installed with XP Media Centre and the other with XP Pro but any recovery CDs went missing long ago. He asked me to reinstall the PCs so I figured there'd be no problem.
I started the installation, using a standard XP MCE or XP Pro OEM disk, but got a 7B BSOD on each of them. I got the same error if I tried to access the hard drives with a Bart PE disk. I checked the BIOS and could only get the installations to go to completion ONLY after I had disabled the onboard RAID. I guess that excludes the SATA hard drives, RAM and other hardware having caused the BSOD.
I really wouldl like to get the RAID running on at least one of the PCs as he wants to use it (or both) a file server(s) and would like the safety net that RAID would provide.
Does anyone have any recommendations? I guess I'll have to press F6 and load a driver during the installation but I'm not entirely sure which driver. I'd welcome guidance.
Thanks for your time.

nliteos - slipstream the drivers for the raid and the sata for the motherboards into the installation disc
nLite - Deployment Tool for the bootable Unattended Windows installation
That should help.
