http://www.network-drivers.com/drivers/61/61126.htm
notice on the file list it shows a NDIS directory
Give that a whirl
Nath.
If that doesn't work out for you let me know. I have a Ghost disk for those I'll send you a compressed file of it if you like.
bear in mind that this would "technically" be illegal mrforgetful.
You'd be better off making a .img file of the disk [cant remember the proggy to do it - there are more than one - but its freely available].
Please please do not provide a link openly on here too. PM if ya have to
Cheers
Nath.
Really?
Ok I'll just provide the driver and file with the settings in if he needs them, is that illegal? There's not Ghost program then is there?
if you are using the two floppy's, then the second presumably has the ghost.exe on it.
I guess you "could" copy the first boot disk for him, but even so, I believe that the first has copyrighted software on it which would still be illegal hehe
I'm know it sounds like I'm nit-picking - but I'm not meaning to really lol
The drive and file with the settings would be the best bet really "just-in-case" but providing that file exists on driverguide, he should be fine anyhow
Cheers
Nath
could i have a copy of the first disk please.
thanks
was the driver no good that i gave you the link to?
Nath.
No it is the same one i had downloaded myself and it keeps coming up with unable to bind.
thank you
right-o...
best bet would be to give mrforgetful a pm then
No prob.
Nath.
Just sorted it. The drivers from the site you linked to. I copied the contents of the protocol.ini file in the ndis2 folder into the parameters of the new card you create. and hey presto it worked!
Thank yo for your help
no problemo.
Shame I couldn't do this as my job - help the IT staff of the UK via forum, email, & telephone.
Any offers please form a nice PM please
Nath.
I am having the same problem with this driver. I am trying to creat a ghost image or this pavilion n5290 laptop and I cannot get an ndis driver to work. Any help would be appreciatel. When I look under device manager, it shows Admtek an983. I've tried too many from download manager and they won't let me download without paying anymore.
I thought I'd bump an old thread rather than start a new one.
Has anyone had any success using WDS on these machines?
try the fujitsu siemens website, download the driver for dos. i did this the other day comes with the packet driver and ndis driver.
