Good morning, wondering if anyone can recommend me a scanner whos drivers/software can be allocated by a package.
In the past we've have reasonable success with packages for the CanonScan LiDE ranges, these have been created on an RM Network using their packaging software which is basically Winstall LE. I can see no obvious reason why any driver and software shouldn't be packaged sucessfully.
Maybe you would be better off asking which scanners people have been unable to package successfully.
Later on this afternoon I'll be trying to package up the drivers for the CanonScan LiDE 100 (nice scanner, USB powered), I'll let you know how I get on.
We have about 40 Canoscan LiDE 25 scanners, thinking about it, not sure on how we deployed the drivers don't think it was via an MSI.
Well, the packaging went smoothly, once we have an opportunity to test if it works I'll post the results, we have one more scanner left to be pressed into use and so it'll probably be over the next couple of days.
Currently using a HP 7650 and the Windows Fax Scanner inbuilt stuff.
Did an A4 240dpi .bmp today. 1.5Gb....oops.
