I've a SMC 24 port unmanaged switch that has gone up the creek recently. I'm pretty sure it's the power transformer inside it cooked out. I see on the net that service from SMC is at best lightweight at present and wondered if anyone had suggestions as to where I might enquire for repairs please.

Maybe they don't have the money to replace it?

I replaced the PSU successfully in a D-Link that had blown. Not supposed to be user replaceable but there was nothing hard about it.
