NX6110 because it works better with Linux (The NX6125 needs a patch for suspend to ram to function)

Won't be using Linux. Just want to see if people think the Pentium M is £70.00 better then the Turion.

Key question I'd have is whether or not the power consumption is better on one over the other.. and thus, whether the battery last longer on one over the other.

Turion for personal use, Pentium for school use.

Can you get me a Turion Sysman at that price for personal use? Any chance of an extended warranty?!

Even so, £446 isn't bad for a Turion... I'd pay the full VAT price to the school...

    (heck, I tried!)

    Re: Turion 64 ML-32 1.8GHz vs Intel Pentium M 1.7GHz

Is the Pentium M solution a full Centrino jobby? If so, I'd say get that one. I've found the Intel wireless cards work a fair bit better than the generic Broadcom ones that seem to be popular with OEMs like HP and Dell.

Of course, if wireless isn't a consideration get the Turion
