HP LaserJet P2055DN's going offline and not responding

Unfortunately I am still having the same issue. I tried the suggestion of disabling SNMP. I also decided to turn off IPv6 since it's not being used in my case. As soon as I did that and they restarted their printer the printer came on and started printing right away. Instead of taking upwards of 10 minutes to come out with one report. So I will report back if it keeps it going or if the printing continues to hang up.

They can be erratic and repowering usually brings them back for a few days.

On my side, the printer also "reset" its configuration to BOOTP from time to time.

Is that occuring on your sides as well ?

Another pb I have is Im unable to connect to the web server, always saying "System is initializing..."
Any advices ?

HP released a new firmware update for the P2055DN a couple of days ago to fix the unauthorized access vulnerability (version 20111214). I assume this also includes the fix found in @ZeroHour's beta firmware?

It's contents were long ago rolled in to a 20101025 FW drop. Downgrading FW to the 'beta FW' should not fix anything, instead, it would remove a long list of of subsequent fixes. If someone has proof that downgrading to the 2009 Beta FW fixed their issue please reply with details. Thank You. Keep in mind, hundreds of thousands of these units have been sold world wide. More than likely, specific network environments and their settings are causing the P2055 issues. Even so, I would like to understand these details to ensure a FW fix on the P2055 is not the answer.

It's my understanding that this is caused by the network setup. I have 4 of these printers and they all work flawlessly. They are attached manually to each computer though, so no scripting involved. Perhaps the issue is in the way they are networked.

I have several P2055dn's that go into a "Printing" mode on the printer and will not respond without power cycle. They are running FW 20101025. We have CM2320nf MFP printers at the same locations that don't have this problem.
