This Dell offering could be interesting, a netbook that can take one on the chin it just needs Windows 7 instead of Vista but at least it will run it.

Have a look at Dell's new Latitude 2100 netbooks - with touchscreen and bespoke charging trolley!

Because it's classed as a business range laptop and not a home laptop it can come with 3yr NBD onsite warranty, and the pricing for schools with all the features and the warranty is the same range as the existing 10" netbooks making it very very attractive as a product.
