keep losing printers and print spooler.
Hi all
I keep getting an error every time I try to print.
'An unhandled Win32 exception occurred in spoolsv.exe{4056}'
'An unhandled Win32 exception occurred in spoolsv.exe{264}'
'An unhandled Win32 exception occurred in spoolsv.exe{3544}'
There has probaly been some others but these are the most recent.
After this I don't see a printer.
I find that the local print spooler has normally stopped.
I can restart it and see the printers again but as soon as I try to print I get one of these errors.
The printer is network attached and anyone else can print to them.
I have tried cleaning the registry and thought that had cleared the problem but it's come back.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, it's driving me nuts.

13th May 2009, 11:27 PM #2 Most likely it's a crap driver causing the problems...
If you grab the kyocera printer driver cleaner that will clear up ALL references to your printer driver(s) and allow you to reinstall them fresh... I don't have the link for the kyocera util but a little hunting around should locate it.

(Usually C:\WINDOWS\System32\spool\PRINTERS)
