we have a HP4108gl switch. As i have a bit more time on my hands i thought i would look at the configurations of the key hardware devices. I have noticed that some ports are set to enable flow control and some not
What are the benefits of flow control and is it worth enabling or not.
cheers

Re: To enbale or not to enable flow control? that's the ques
Enable!
Flow control manages the rate that information is sent between two devices, if one device starts sending packets at a rate the reciveing device can't handle due to load or whatever then you'll start getting network congestion.
