Netbooks?

Just a quick poll here

On the whole are Netbooks a good bit of kit or just simply not worth bothering with?

Not rally going into brands etc i am just going for the device concept on the whole

if yo have a specific use for them or are really short on space fine but by the time youve upgraded them to xp pro rather than home (total pain without a cd drive one day i will get windows to install from usb) they often cost as much as a laptop with a bigger screen.

I love my MSI Wind, i had to swap its wireless card so that it would work in Fedora.

i dont mind the size of them, infact im sure i use my netbook more than i would a full size laptop

Too damn small for my liking. The cheapest ones are a bit too slow and the expensive ones are pointless when you can get a proper laptop for the same money!

Only reason I'd have one would be for very light use when travelling.

I Like my HP mininote but i only use it at the datacentre really :P
