    Senturion

    Anyone use this:
    Senturion Rack-mount Environment Monitor

If you do, can you tell me if this could email me directly (without a mail server). Also, if it comes with all the bits and bobs to shut the servers down when a certain temperature is reached.

    Many thanks

I have one here. The answers are no and no. Unless they've updated the firmware since the last update I did (we're using 1.04). Also, it can't update itself if it has to use a proxy.

(by no for the latter, I mean no it doesn't come with anything fancy. It could be done via SNMP traps though I suppose).

Ok, Update... Just brought it home and they have now released version 2.21 of the firmware. Which now has proxy support - so ignore my comment about that above.

The update now allows you to backup your configuration, allows access to some models of IP cameras, provides a more useful range of results instead of 'OK' 'FAIL'.
