What's happened to SCL?

Hi,

Is it just me or is any-one else getting bounces from the usual email addresses?

Apparently they've been taken over or have merged with Edu-Tec and now I can't get hold of my usual contacts. Emails bounce and the support email address I was given from a chap on the phone apparently does not warrant the decency to reply to my email sent to it.

What happened to the super fast efficient service that made us use them for the past two years over all others?

I understood they were moving offices a couple of weeks ago, so I guess they'll be back to normal soon.

I E-mailed a quote request a few days ago and have got no reply - so I rang them and I sent the E-mail request again to a different Edu-tec address - no reply.
Oh well, looks like I'll have to use someone else.

Just tried to call you Nigel we do have your email, at the moment we are working through a backlog. We have indeed merged with another education IT supplier Edu-tec and have been moving to thier offices. We did try to get this done before the end of the easter break but we have over run and have had some issues regarding email integration etc

If you still have any outstanding issues (quotes/parts needed/warranty etc) please please please either PM or email me directly so that I can make sure you are recieving the kind of service you have come to expect from SCL.

@Matt I'm trying to find out who is dealing with your quote right now, give me 30 mins to kick some back side and I will drop you a PM.

There will be an offical announcement at some point soon (probably when my head does not feel like it is going to explode).

Amazing what can happen when you turn your back for a few weeks/months isn't it?

I've bought a (small) number of custom PC's from SclOnline including my quad core currently simmering quietly beside me. Now, some months down the line, all the contacts I had with them have moved on, the phone was answered by someone who had no idea how to answer my question (Who's my rep now please?) and send an email to sales.

Why? I wanted an answer and am now looking elsewhere for the next round of setup and supply to staff for home PC's. Shame that after a week they still haven't replied to my email/request for quotes. Can't wait forever.
