Im currently looking at the Dell DL2000 disk to disk backup solution powered by symantec and was wondering if anyone has one of these? They look excellent but im pretty sure the price tag will be hefty and cant help wondering if i could build my on solution for a 3rd of the price!

It is basically a Dell 2950 server and a DAS unit. so does anyone have any suggestions? The Dell unit claims to offer 55% faster backup time and 49% quicker restore times so i would need my own solution to be roughly the same
