Does anybody know if Dell's prices drop much from the price on there website when do it via an account manager or when you buy in 100's ?
Looking at the Dell Mini 12, and comes out at £388 with VAT for the 6 Cell version. But would want to strip out the Mini PCI Wireless Card and put an N capable one in. Really need to try and get a 12" Netbook for under £300 ex VAT.

Its all still not been finalised, managment are still playing with idea's, so far, i believe around 220 of these.
We've been looking at the Asus Eee PC 1000H, as much as i love them my head says getting a 12" netbook instead of a 10" is the better way, but trying to get a 12" Netbook with a 6 hour battery, and a N wireless card with Windows XP around the £250 mark excluding VAT is well impossable so far.

I can usually get a better price via my Dell Account manager, however not on Vostros as they wont budge the price on those. If your buying in bulk then there are savings to be had. Dell gave me a £50 discount last year on a £450 latitude as I bought 5. If you want 100 then discount should be there - just ask them.

as a Dell reseller wwe can get better pricing and discounts on the whole range including Vostro's and then pass those savings onto yourselves,
