Oh yeah, I remember an engineer coming in now to do the BIOS update. Nice guy and it all went smoothly - not something I'd want to do myself though.

Hmmm, I did a firmware update last august, this was really not complicated. I'll do another one in a month or two, if it helped to solve the problem I'll post it here.

This was the BIOS update, not just a normal Fishworks firmware update. You have to boot into the Service Processor, run a BIOS update from there, and the engineer also changed some of the settings in the BIOS that I can't remember off-hand. I'm not sure if it was this or a firmware upgrade that fixed my SP issues, but I'd lean towards the former. Might be worth getting someone out if you still get problems, although it's all done through lights out manager so could be done remotely.

on my 7110 have 2 datapool,
can i destroy one and add disks to other pool ? read somewhere it's imposible
