Hello,
Can somebody recommend some reasonable priced smartphones that run Windows Mobile 6 and have built in Wi-Fi? A querty keyboard would be nice, but not neccessary.
Basically I want it to connect to our wi-fi network in school, install the Office Communications server client and use this so the ICT Support Team can contact each other more easily.
Thanks
Rob

Surely during IT troubles, you don't want your communication going through the same system your problems are
Walkie-talkie?

18th March 2009, 12:38 AM #3 I got my HTC Touch Pro for £250 off flea-bay and it does everything.
I put off getting a smartphone for ages but bit the bullet and I love it!

18th March 2009, 09:25 AM #4 I've got a HTC Touch Diamond (the same as the touch Pro but without the keyboard or expansion slot IIRC).
One thing to remember - if you use wireless on it a lot, the battery life is going to suck. Wifi uses a lot more juice than your normal mobile connection.
That said, it is invaluable as a tool for me.

18th March 2009, 03:17 PM #7 Have a look at the new HTC phones HTC Touch HD and Touch Pro 2 also if you can wait a while look at the HTC Touch Diamond 2 as its had a lot of improvements since the first version. All of them look
awesome too which obviously adds to the geek cred.
