For a bespoke server like this I would recomend SCL there are a sponsor on these forums who specialise in Bespoke Builds!

    FAO leco,

I can't see it in your list did you want the additional 830 watt power supply module to give you a 1 + 1 redundant configuration or do you want just the one module that comes with the chassis by default?

Also the 1TB Seagates do you know if it is the standard drives you are after or the enterprise ES drive? (It make a bit of a difference to the price).

    Regards

Could you give me prices for both please.

I think the standard drives will be adequate, thanks.

Get the enterprise ones even if it means dropping down in capacity.

    Wouldn't 4 x 1TB RAID5 give 3TB of usable storage?

Unless you are using 3 drives + 1 hot spare.

Thanks Ben, I think the idea is to have a spare. I would like the enterprise ones but it really depends on price.

It's to replace the curriculum server, Domain Controller - Windows Server 2008 OS

Thinking of leaving the Exchange Server on the existing machine but moving most other things to the new one.
