    But it is horses for courses. I have a semi-DSLR (well fake DSLR, no interchangable lens but all the other features) but I am looking for a small camera for when I am out and about and at gigs as I don't want to lug something large around.

    Canon G9?

    I'd say the newer G10 but the G9 is smaller.
