I've had a few people complain that when they are using active studio it can take quite a while to move through the pages of a flipchart or even use a tool or wait for the click to register.
We've tried the latest version of the driver and activstudio as available from the promethean website.
The last laptop that had the problem I checked that the cpu wasn't maxed out or anything silly but it just seems to be the boards response time.

5th January 2009, 11:26 AM #2 Hi plexer,
That is quite odd. Just a couple of things that you could try...
Change the 'Colour Quality' in Display settings down to 16Bit colour (This is native for Activstudio), and also, if still not working well, try using the board with MS Paint, and see if you are still getting any 'lag's' - if you do, then it is deffinately the board, if not, then it points to Studio it's self.
Failing that, it may also be worth just checking the firmware version of the board (right click on Driver icon in sys tray / About), and if you are on anything less than 3.55, it may be worth contacting our support team for a firmware update disk.
