HP ML110 Died after update
Morning,
Not the best morning. I was working on a VPC on the weekend and brought it back into school to test it. I copied it over to my test server ( a ML110 ) and applied some updates that WSUS said it needed and rebooted without removing the external drive... me bad
It took and age to reboot then hung at the Logo screen. i killed it after a while then removed the external HD and now it won't get to Bios.... I have removed all the bits inside, cleaned the memory slots as thats worked int he past with other stuff and just booted with the bare minimum. Tried resetting the bios too....
Only bought it in may so its under warranty. Really pee'd off as it runs my WSUS and Sophos.

17th December 2008, 03:01 PM #3 HP guy came out and changed the board and it still did it, swapped the memory around and it came to life. Bad stick of memory and a faulty board.. one must have caused the other.
