Hp Nc6220 Keyboard Problems....
Hi,
i have a hp Nc6220, the prolem is that the number two keys stoped working followed today by the fn and ctrl keys, i have taken the keys of and swapped round etc to test but doesnt work anybody got any suggestions?
the keysthat stoppped working are number two ctrl and fn.
Anbody got a spare keyboard? for money.

Hi Antp,
you have the trusty old NC6220's they are excellent notebooks...im guessing they are falling just out of warranty for you now...
the issue here with keyboard problems is that its usually really difficult to diagnose the underlying problem....the fact that you have swapped the keys and it still doesnt work suggests that the connections underneath the keys have broken or detached....and there is very little you can do about that.
HP stock of these is difficult to come by because the distributors dont stock these original keyboard pads.
I will have a sniff around for you tomorow to see if i know anyone holding stock...im sure i can dig something out for you.
Ps...was anything spilt onto the keyboard prior to the keys stopping working ?
