    Exclamation Sony Batteries Recalled - Again

    There has been a new recall of Sony batteries affecting HP, Dell and Toshiba laptops.

    Isn't this just for batteries sold in the US or is it the UK as well as the sites in the links for the announcement and Dell, HP & Toshiba are the USA ones?

    That's probably because they're all US companies. If the labels match, it's recalled.

    My bad They are Japanese in nature, but tend to operate out of the US (the US company name is Toshiba America Inc).

    I've just found an affected Dell battery, which means we have a batch of about 100 of them

    The recall says that only about 150 Dell units are affected, so if you really have got 100 of them that's damned bad luck!

    On closer examination I've only found a couple, 100 was an estimate based on how many I'd checked and found!
