    Replacement for HP2600

It seems the HP2600 Colour Laser has been discontinued (and even the up-market 2605 that did postscript/duplex but used same cartridges)

has anyone tried out the HP CP series cheapos (and found all the niggles and sorted them )or would recommend another type (or knows where there is a stockpile of 2600s )

    regards

    Simon

The HP2600N is EOL (End Of Life), Lambdatek and other companies have a habit of still showing the product so that you make a call and then they will try and convert you, We have contacted disty and the vendor HP and this model is no longer in production or in the channel,

Yes that is indeed possible, however I'm sure at least one will still have some remaining stock. I didn't think the HP2605 had been out that long either, so I'm surprised it also has been discontinued.

We have around 40 requests for the HP 2600N in refurbished condition and non out there believe me Ive hunted as this was such a popular printer, the next best alternative I could recomend is the CP3505N which is a lot more heavy weight but will out last a 2600N anytime,

I can't believe folk still want to buy this! Granted, the printer was as cheap as chips, but the economy of it (cartridge prices and life) is shocking.

We have around 9 of them, and would gladly sell them on any day! Unfortunately, we couldn't possibly justify that..

Nice to see some slack there than the previous. I'll be sure to be in contact for our next order!

Now they just need to make high capacity toners for this printer at max 50% more the price and i'll retract my earlier comment about bad economy
