    Get its MAC address and give it a static ip reservation in your DHCP server you can then set it manually on the printer as well if you want for insurnce. It saves the extra lookups/netbios calls of tracking it down by name each time.

    We get this issue all the time, I tend to blame the user pressing the GO button for too long.

    We've had the same issues, we found the solution for it on here. It was baking the circuit board which reflows the solder. Has worked on 5 so far.
