After receiving a nice e-mail from ergo about getting a replacement keyboard
After checking the serial number of the laptop unfortunatly we can no longer have stock of these keyboards and are unable to obtain any more.
Apologies,
I need a replacement keyboard, part no AEEW1STE019, for an Ergo Mercury 3 laptop. Having looked on t'internet I cannot find anything. Help!!?

24th September 2008, 03:11 PM #3 How old is the laptop? Does it not fall under their 5 year spares available guarantee? If it's older than 5 years then a replacement would be in order anyway I'd have thought...

24th September 2008, 03:14 PM #4 I'm guessing not as they checked the serial number on the laptop.
As for ebay, to be honest not a big fan of it down to trust.

You need the whole keyboard or just some keys.
If it's just some keys take some pics of the mounting arrangement if you can and I'll check.

24th September 2008, 07:36 PM #7 you could try and contact my mate John @ ergo johnh@ergo.co.uk and tell him mark from bradford LA sent you see if you get a response then. Will look at all our old Ergo LA stock bound to have a mercury 3 somewhere. We deal exclusivly with ergo as an advisory team and have been exceptionally pleasedf with support etc.

I'm after a whole keyboard. If you turn it over once out you will find the part number on the back.

25th September 2008, 11:25 AM #10 The black strip accross the top with the power button etc should clip off. Then there are two screws.
