Our pupils enjoy the whole "let's unplug the mouse and then break the pins trying to put it back in" game. Is it technically possible for a computer to be aware of when a mouse or keyboard is removed from a ps/2 port? I'm working on an idea of an automatic notification system that will let me know when and where it happens.
Thanks all.

24th September 2008, 11:08 AM #5 How about a blob of "no more nails" type glue, or one of those hot melt glue guns on the plug?
It prevents casual removal, but will come off with harder effort which may be more noticable if they're trying to take it out.
