Rep Power: 4  |  Acer L5100 What a PITA it's been for the last half hour! Been trying to boot to BIOS but i couldn't, kept getting the vista style screens either the OS boot menu or a start in safe mode style options screen. It clearly states on the spash screen press F12 for boot or Del for setup menu. Neither worked, that is until i used a spare USB keyboard rather than the one that came with it. What the hell's going on? It's as though it doen't pick up the acer branded keyboard until after the spash screen whereas the cheapo keyboard worked from the get-go. Sorted it now but thought i'd just share Strange stuff |
