    At least it's sorted, but not what I would consider a standard fix I have to say. I think pretty much everyone on Edugeek was looking at a hardware/power issue rather than a Windows issue. You live and learn

    Indeed! I'm just glad it was under warranty... I dread to think what it would have cost to have this guy here that long otherwise!! And I must say he was very helpful - all credit to him for his commitment and determination.
