Intel 945 Chipset screen resolution

Anyone running any kit with an Intel 945 chipset and a widescreen monitor running at 1440 x 900 resolution?

We have some new monitors and i can't seem to set the resolution to the suggested native settings.

Are you using a driver downloaded directly from Intel or are you using a manufacturer provided version? I would start by trying the latest driver available on the Intel site if you havent already Intel® 945 Express Chipset Family*Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for Windows* XP (zip), or you could try the driver located here Intel® 82945G Express Chipset*Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for Windows* XP

I did have the latest driver but i hadn't seen the info in the second link i'll give it a try.

Also is it just a straight VGA output your using or is it a DVI-I with an adaptor?

It is on a vga lead but it's working fine now thanks.
