Hi,
I've got an Amilo L7320GW that overheats. (it belongs to the Head's better-half).
I've checked the vents / heat sink ducting and it's clear of dust and fluff. The heatsink looks like it is secure on the cpu.
One thing I have noticed is that the fan will spin on machine startup but then whilst the machine is running it does not spin up at all - even with the CPU being put under serious load.
This model is the one where the fan vent in the bottom casing is sealed by plastic and insulation.
There's nothing in BIOS to regulate temperature, etc.
Advice much appreciated.
