Default for those with STONE laptops...

Our MR052 models bought in July 2007 have recently started dropping all the retaining screws in the bottom. I don't know if it affects other STONE laptop models.

Stone have sent some additional retaining screws and seating compound and did offer to send an engineer...

You might want to check your STONE laptops...

We had the same issue. It appears a batch of Stone laptops were made where they forgot to put locktight on the screws

We had some that lost a few screws. Think they were older than that though. In fairness it's the only problem we've had with stone's stuff. Anytime somethings goes wrong there's an engineer here the next day (sometimes same day!).
We've just ordered a load more stuff from stone aswell. So clearly not enough to put me off the company :P

We are still waiting for fixing brackets for the DE-945 which attaches to the tft (only been waiting a few months though).

ROFL our stone laptops do that too

We're not buying stone's this year I believe.
