Rep Power: 6  |  HP Diagnostic boot disk Unlike Dell, HP don't do diagnostic partitions. Sometimes I find it useful to test the computer without going into Windows. Do HP provide a way of doing this? |

Rep Power: 4 | if you want to check partitions, why dont you download the utility tools from the hard drive manufacturers? |

Rep Power: 18 | I think HP servers come with a Diagnostics disc, but I'm not sure about their Desktops/Laptops. I use something like Main Page - SystemRescueCd to run diagnostic checks, works well on most PCs. Mike. |
