Default USB and audio jack faceplate

Hi

We've tidied away our computers under desks in our ict rooms which makes everything look nice and gives a lot more room etc, but does leave us with problems when it comes to plugging in usb sticks or headphones/microphones.

What I'd like to do is have a faceplate on each desk with a usb socket and 3.5 audio sockets that runs to the machine.

I've seen some things around but nothing like this and most seem to be for av setups for projectors etc. There's also the modular system but I can't find any usb one to fit this. Making it myself seems a bit of a time consumer.

Anyone seen anything like this around that would fit or I could adapt?

Thanks as always

Phil

Just a quick update for people searching:

I managed to track down some from euronetwork.co.uk- made them custom for me at around £8 each (with 2 usb ports and 2 audio jacks for mic and headphones)

we do something similar where all our PC's are in 2U racks and they are stored in a central data centre and then we trunk through to each ict room using USB/VGA/PS2 over cat5e and it works well. We have a similar issue what we do is buy some face plates from datapro and then we tie it in with our trunking and it works really well. Highly recommended and if you buy in bulk you get very good deals.

For wall boxes and faceplates you can't beat these guys, little on the expensive side, but they do every combination imaginable! The pre-wired ones are handy for DIY whiteboard installs.

Datacable do something like this. 01535 690075 and ask for Martin. I think they can customise them as well. No idea about price though
