Have a FJS Server, it just doesn't have that same HP Quality about it would far rather have had a HP One, much better feel about it.

I don't have any experience of modern Fujitsi Siemens servers, but in the past they haven't been built as well as HPs.

IMO a Quad core would be overkill for 8 machines -assuming uses like file server, IIS use, etc.

If you aren't keen on the AMD CPU in an ML115 you could go for an ML110 with Dual Core Xeon, as CPLTD says, they are great machines and you'd either save a load on the server or be able to add more disk space.

The HP ML11x series servers are a steal and very capable machines.

I will second that. I installed one for a school i did a favor for. And the head requested this model. And was very surprised with how good the server was. When you first turn it on it sounds like it is going to take off. but after 20 seconds it is deadly silent.

Quad core, 2 gigs of ram, rack mounted 350. Needs a second HD though.

Ml110's are great, I use them for the VOIP PBXs we sell. There is nothing wrong with the build quality and are very capable servers. They are RAID capable. I have had many conversations with distributor's about moving away from HP but they can not beat the prices of the ML110 and do not under stand why they are so cheap.
