One of the schools i attend to has got an Epson EMP-82e projector that seems to be locked out with the security.
It displays a message of request code 50098
I am assuming this is because the pin code (which I do know) has been entererd incorrectly.
Does anybody know the proceedure for unloking this projector?

I'm not sure about this model but we have a slightly different Epson that does the same thing when the security code has been entered wrong three times. If you remove power from the unit for a few minutes, it then should ask you to re-enter the security code again.

I have tried Disconnecting the power but this made no difference unfortunatley.
I am not back in this school until Monday so will have to try again then.

You'll need to ring epson and give them that error code that comes up when you power the projector up. They'll ask you to send them proof of purchase, so fax them your invoice/order. They will ring or email you the unlocking code for this. You might need to chase them up regarding the unlocking code as they have a tendenacy of forgeting.
