As most probably all of you have been in the same situation, the kids have knackered up the floppy disk drives and have now become unusable and untidy.
does any one know of anywhere you can get the (3.5" size) floppy disk blanking bays and preferebly in black?
also, what is the official name for these?

1st May 2008, 12:19 PM #5 i have found some on a site, they are officially called "3.5 inch Drive Bay Blanking Plates", if you search for blanking plates then it comes up with the motherboard extension bay covers
found a company that supplies these, which is quite handy as our pcs are all fujitsu siemens

....but at the moment are out of stock!!

1st May 2008, 02:37 PM #6 our technology department makes them for us with one of their fancy cutting machines out of thick black plastic and we glue them in with a glue gun.
