Just got my first one of the latest in the Business Inkjet series.
It just has a USB port (no parallel) and doesn't come with a duplexor unit and cost £99 from Dabs.
I put in a set of CW re-filled cartridges straight away and it worked fine.
It is perfect for where I've put it (1 primary class with 6 Win98 machines) but obviously won't be much good in a big network.
Has anyone used an Ehternet to USB print server and would they recommend it?
regards
Simon

Bloody expensive but absolutely flawless: HP Jetdirect en3700. We're running our CLJs on them and they haven't faltered.
However in the real world, maybe something like this will be more suitable? We bought one from Probrand for about £50 for an office printer, it seems to do the job well and it supports port 9100 printing.

The protocol that Jetdirect print servers use. Windows supports it by default without having to load extra drivers. It uses port 9100 by default.
I'm sure its not the proper name for it but its the common one
