dabs.com - XFX GeForce 8800GTS 640MB DDR3 PCIE DVI (PV-T80G-TDF4)
I bought one this am but found that the Credit card had been registered wrongly (school address not home) so that cost me £20 (original order came to £105 inc vat and delivery.)
Even so at £129 (£200 last week) its a bargain, much faster than a 9600gt and with lots of memory, this is clearance so buy quick.
PPS I have a discount on my account because its used for work So I paid £125 inc delivery w00t!

7th April 2008, 12:09 PM #2 It's not bad value but but AFAIK its based on older tech and is outperformed by the 8800GT which is faster and requires less power. The 8800GT card below is probably a better bet IMO :-

7th April 2008, 12:11 PM #3 IIRC, there are two revisions of the GTS. The old one is outperformed by the GT but the newer one is actually slightly faster. It might be possible to find out which type this card is but I suspect it's the older variety if it's in clearance.

I can confirm this. Ive got the 8800GT. Its great as it doesnt take up 3 PCI slots like the G80-GTS does with its massive cooler

The 8800GT does tend to get a bit on the hot side. It only uses a single slot cooling solutions whereas the GTS/X use dual slot soloutions. Still a very good card for the money though.
