Fantastic! I was so tempted last time to get one but I never quite pulled the trigger. Do you know how the VAT would would if I bought one for home use?
I very nearly bought one too but 50 quid delivery.
Good- but the delivery cost is astounding and the total price with 'nout added is around £175.00. Not exactly £99 that they initially state. On top of that, Misco do some really cool Intel based HP servers for just a little more.
Victor Meldrew(sp?) hat off now...

We bought one of these recently, really nice server for the price - HP ProLiant ML110 G4 Xeon 3040 - Ebuyer
Shame misco aren't still doing them for £99
That's okay, but eBuyer have the HP equivilent with 3 years NBD warranty as appose to Dells 1 for £151.00 delivered (Super Saver). It wouldn't take that much cash to add a few more specs to it, if you buy from eBuyer anyway. Dells prices can be a liitle on the wild side!
Heres the link anway:
HP ProLiant ML110 G4 Xeon 3040 1860-2MB/1066 Dual Core, 1x512MB, Non Hot Plug SATA 160GB, DVD/CD-RW, 3 Year Next Business Day Warranty - Ebuyer

We've just bought two (although, as pointed out, they are actually £175 by the time you've added VAT, delivery, and VAT for the delivery). We added another 512MB of RAM, a second 160GB harddrive, a second network adapter and two 8GB memory sticks to each server. Now we have two machines that boot off solid-state storage and load up Xen virtual machines off a 160GB RAID-1 array. Obviously they aren't top-range machines, but they're certainly not bad - solid build, lots of space inside, two tool-less 3.5" drive bays (and you could easily fit another 3.5" drive in the now-unused 3.5" "floppy" slot or the spare 5.25" slot under the built-in DVD drive). Motherboard has four SATA ports, no PATA or PS/2, 5 external USB on the rear and two USB on the front, also one proper internal USB port - not just a 9-pin header, you can actually shove a USB stick right on the motherboard. Two PCI-X x8 slots, one x1 slot, one PCI slot.

I can rate the HPs, got one here for someone very nice bits of kit and worth the cost. Infact how can they make money on them at that price?
The HPs are now £112 inc vat & delivered - come with 1Gb ram plus 1 more gig if you send off for it - shame there are only 2 slots and they're both filled with 512MB each! lol - still - mega bargain.
(price from Insight - but they're for sale at a few places)

At last insight have dropped the price! Horah, they were about 2 weeks ago nearly £120 MORE than anyone else for the same thing!
I can't see any specs etc..maybe I'm being thick..
I know Steve wants to get another Poweredge 840 to partner our existing rig with all the VMs on. Good kit..
