    Irritating promethean problem

Just been called to a classroom to have a look at a teachers whiteboard, it seems Active Studio 3 has decided that the eraser tool should no-longer erase things. She still has Active Studio 2 from when she was getting used to the new version and this works fine as does PX.

I've reinstalled and checked all the settings but for some reason it just won't erase, everything else works perfectly and the eraser has been working fine for months until now.

Anyone came across this before? My stop-gap so far has been to use the old version or the white pen to cover things But thats no good if you're not using a blank flipchart.

    I would do the following.

    Remove version 2.

    Update to latest driver.

Update to latest version 3 software.

Update to latest Board firmware. (call promethean for this CD).

We have had a host of problems, and these are the steps we have had to take to fix the issue. No idea if this actually fixes the issue as I have only "fixed" one class pc so far and I am waiting to see if the problem goes away.

I would follow ICT_GUY's advice, maybe taking anything promethean off the PC and re-installing from scratch.
