Has anyone tried any of the Thecus storage devices, in particular the N5200 Pro NAS storage device? I need something to act as a 'dumping ground' for staff who want to back up files from their laptops without clogging up our main file server with miscellaneous rubbish . The base box is around £450 ex vat plus the cost of HDD, I was thinking of 5x 750gb drives in a RAID configuration.

My initial thoughts were to buy a Terastation Pro II but the feedback for these is somewhat mixed on Edugeek so I was looking for alternatives to compare against and saw the Thecus product. I have also considered an Adaptec Snap Server but it was a bit pricey for what I wanted.
