I challenge that to get through all 4 floors at our place for £70!

£70 an aerial and £400 for the AP...

and i never said the signal was particularly useable tho lol (was enuff to pick up dhcp)

o and they take 2 aerials per AP too

Ah well, didn't realise the AP was £400, I have a £170 Buffalo one on a £70 Buffalo and that won't go through 3 floors very well

My 3COM 8250 that I use at home just has the standard aerials and has the power output turned down to 50%. My iBook gets excellent signal from all over the house and the wireless still leaks outside a bit! I live in a medium sized semi-detatched house built of accrington brick!
