Ah well, didn't realise the AP was £400, I have a £170 Buffalo one on a £70 Buffalo and that won't go through 3 floors very well

My 3COM 8250 that I use at home just has the standard aerials and has the power output turned down to 50%. My iBook gets excellent signal from all over the house and the wireless still leaks outside a bit! I live in a medium sized semi-detatched house built of accrington brick!
