Hi Guys, I'm rather new to this place and was just wondering whether you could help me.
I work in a large secondary school where there are a lot of I.T rooms around the building. Our weapon of choice when it comes to printing (and we tend to use a small rainforest in paper each week doing so) is the brother HL 7050.
A few months ago we recieved a bad batch of toner cartridges and drum units and since then many of the printers have began to show the 'toner low' message on the printer display. After every 10 prints or so the printer stops and displays 'toner life ended', on printing a config sheet it showed that the toner and the drum unit were both full. I've tried turning the toner alerts off but the printer refuses to print, I've tried deleting and re-adding the machine to the domain, but the server that deals with the printers just sees the machines as ready which leads me to believe its something to do with the brother software.
Does anyone else have any similar issues with this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
