    Good Network Colour Laser

Can anyone recommend me a good colour networkable laser printer. It needs to be able to do at least 3000 pages a month. Cheap toner and preferably be able to duplex.

It doesn't need to do fancy paper sizes or have fancy add-on's (wireless, bluetooth, photo's, etc...)

    Looking for around £100-400

    Thanks!

HP COLOUR LASERJET 2605DN is currently £285.99 at Misco. Give their education dept a call and they should be able to knock off a few pennies of plus free delivery.

Konica Minolta Magicolor 5450 will do that.

We have some here from www.printersforschools.co.uk on a leasing scheme, they also do free printers in exchange for buying consumables from them (which isn't the con it might sound like, as their consumables are really well priced).

I don't go near refills - had some bad experiences in the past.

I would also recommend the above printer.

I'd agree with that. We have one and it's great.

How do you find the wait time with the 2605? Is the first page wait time consistently 20 seconds as suggested in the reviews?

Thanks, sounds promising. Now just need to check the max media weight used. I was surprised by the rec max media weight difference between 2600 and 2605, 176 g/m2 and 105 g/m2 respectively.
